Description
The Washington D.C. Dragons are a developmental football team founded in the fall of 2008. The team was founded to provide a competitive, safe, and organized non-pay football team for citizens of Washington D.C Metro area. The Dragons goal is to become a pillar in the community by providing a productive environment that enables young adults to learn and apply the principles of teamwork, discipline, dedication, and sportsmanship on the football field and in everyday challenges. We facilitate the development of strength and character in every young adult that participates in the organization. The Dragons are a developmental organization with the goal of helping athletes further their skills on and off the field. The Dragons will not only serve the community as a destination for family outings, but the Dragons will also assist with volunteer services, and become a benchmark for success within the community. We are sustained by the efforts of volunteers who display an extraordinary amount of commitment and hard work, ensuring that our team is a positive influence in the community. We also strive to provide a service to our community by providing an honorable outlet for young adults, and opportunities for the community to gather with us during any and all events hosted by the Dragons.
