Looking for a Rugby player around Leesburg

If you want to drive up to Frederick, there's a club up there. It's really only about 1/2 hour or so, depending on what part of Leesburg you're in.

Where do they play? Is it club travel or pickup? Are there practices? Is there any concept of age divisions? Thanks for any info you have.

Did you get that last message? It's not showing up here. If not, what I said was it's a travel club, they play home games in Frederick, and they play away games, mostly in the DC metro area. They have an "old guy" team, I think it's 35 and up. And they have 2 other mens teams, one is competitive, the other is more for beginners. I haven't started going to practices yet, and I've never played Rugby before, so most of what I know is from the website. The website is http://www.frederickrugby.org/

Got your message in my email. thanks. When I was 2 years out of college, I played for Nova for a year. I had never played before but had a long background playing football and wanted to play something competitively with some contact. It was a blast. I had no idea what the rules were and it took a while to understand all the differences from football. You will have a great time. Unfortunately, Frederick is too far from where I work to be viable. I will take a peek at Nova again and Western Suburbs. I work out of Tysons.
